Animated short films to help reflect on the world

« Occasionally people who discriminate (or worse) justify themselves by invoking what is « natural ». But… sometimes it is a good idea to watch carefully what nature tells us. »
Marcel Barelli is an animation filmmaker and author of books, born in Ticino and graduated visual arts at the Haute École d ’Art et de Designs in Genève. He is passionate about animals and he develops all his projects around this theme, bringing difficult human topics to life through the simplicity of nature. His award-winning short films at GYPAETUS HELVETICUS (2011), VIGIA (2013), LUCENS (2015) and IN NATURE (2021) became huge festival hits and received numerous prizes at prestigious international festivals.
